Gameguard Error

Hi, i can't Login because of Gameguard Error 114, i closed all my firewalls/antivirus programm, restarted computer but i keep getting this error. then i deleted the system folder and installed the patch new but nothing changed

come on.. like gg hasnt troubled us for years by now >.>.. and cuz i had it disabled before.. every leech "hacker" could send useless packets to server and brag about it.

anyway in few days ill turn on the server side verification and then, if you wont have it enabled you'll get auto kick from server. So get used to it.. gg will always be there.

you can try few things...

check your hosts file and see if you have this lines:

77.234.135.65 L2authd.lineage2.com
77.234.135.65 L2testauthd.lineage2.com
216.107.250.194 nProtect.lineage2.com

if this is ok, delete your Game Guard folder from system and run official updater..

and if it don`t work download new patch : 09.06.2008 if u don`t have it

erm.. gg was only enabled in this patch, so i think thats the actual problem

yeah i checked host and if u read it i wrote that i deleted my system and patched with the newest patch....

i had few errors before establishing a clear connection.. but once i deleted gg folder and ran off updater.. and with hosts file all works perfect.. and it does so for all players playing atm.. so this is out of my reach.. and all i can suggest at this point is what works most of the times... delete and reinstall ^^

seriously.. it must be something blocking the connection :/

what can i do when updater doesn't update my firewall is not blocking it(i turned it off)
it says all the time
"updating download list"

updater works just fine.. and dont bother searching for a problem on patch or server side.. works for 30ppl online atm.. and it did for me since day 1..

and just for info.. you can turn the firewall application down.. and some firewalls like xp's for instance, still block ports..
i guess its not that then, however reinstalling gg always helped me

so i downloaded the client new and installed the whole l2 new, then i started storm updater now i tried but i keep getting this gameguard error 114

what can be the cause of this?
i turned off firewall(includes windows)
host checked
newest patch installed

or can u post your system folder pls?

my system folder is in the patch.. and firewall shouldnt block outgoing connections in the first place :S
so i really dont know.. maybe try to find GG emulator.. or for now you can disable it, but youll get kicked once i run gg server..

if you dled the no gg patch.. then ofcourse not lol now its disabled.. and like i said if i were you i would still try to make it work.. or you wont be able to connect again in few days.

but i don't know what i can do now -.-

well.. like i said Game Guard makes hard times to all players.. and even ppl on retail use emulators cuz of it
but without it.. you just have few noobs thats spam packets.. not even hacks, but still its not something i should tolerate ^^

so will this work when u enable gg?
or must i find a emulator?

i told you in almost every post.. this disables it and server will kick you so no, try to enable it or i guess emulator..

where can i find the emulator?

try google.. or idk i used to have it for c5.. but dont really need it anymore on my own server lol..

also.. did you try pinging the gg ip.. maybe it really cant connect

hmm...the installer of lineage 2 still on ur comp?
if yes so do what im going to tell you now(its also helps me)

1)delete ur system folder.
2)go to ur Lineage2 installer.
3)click on it and press repair.
4)when its done go back to ur lineage2 folder.
5)u will see a system folder(the original one lol xD )
6)put it on ur desktop.
7)now go to the Storm lineage2 patch.
8)Install it on ur lineage2 folder.
9)delete the gameguard folder in ur lineage2 folder.
10)go to ur system folder that u put on ur desktop copy the gameguard and put it on ur lineage2 folder.

and here u go(if its wont work at ur computer so..i dont know )
